Position: Accounting Manager (Certified Public Accountant/CPA qualification required)
Location: Tokyo
You will be primarily responsible for audit-related tasks arising from consolidated financial statements, sales, cost calculations, etc. Especially in audit responses, as a startup engaging in unprecedented business with a wide range of activities, there are many accounting issues requiring advanced knowledge and experience. We are seeking individuals who can handle these challenges and find satisfaction in the work.
Your role will be crucial in supporting the company's business development after IPO and preparing for future IPO activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit response
Preparation of disclosure documents
Compilation of monthly and yearly financial statements (including staff education) *Consultation based on the individual's aptitude and preferences after joining
Consolidated financial statements (& subsidiary management) *Consultation based on the individual's aptitude and preferences after joining
Establishment of various processes and audit responses for IPO preparation
Required Skills:
Experience in audit responses for business companies (experience in either audit firm or business company)
Certified Public Accountant (including Assistant Certified Public Accountant) or USCPA qualification *If you only hold the USCPA qualification, the number of years is not specified, but practical experience in a business company or audit firm is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in audit responses for startup companies or manufacturing companies (experience in either audit firm or business company)
Practical experience in consolidated financial statements, etc.
Business English

Working hours
Prescribed working hours for one month: 8 hours * number of prescribed working days
Flextime system (Core time: 11:00 to 15:00, 60-minute break)
Attendance at the office or remote work based on the company's decision

Holidays and Leave
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and other days designated by the company
Leave: Paid leave (12 days in the first year; 5 days granted at the time of joining, and 7 days granted after 6 months)
Bereavement leave, etc.
Target:
Holders of Certified Public Accountant qualification or US Certified Public Accountant qualification
Experienced in audit responses for business companies at audit firms (or experienced in audit responses for business companies)
Experience in both large corporations and startups is preferable
